Within walking distance is Crantock, a lovely Cornish village.  It has a couple of pubs The Old Albion Inn and The Cornishman, and a Cafe/Bistro Jam Jar Jess, all serve great food.

There's a Village Store and Post Office that also sells pasties too.  

During the summer months, the pop up craft shop opens and you can buy local art/craft works

 

Up the headland towards Porth (Polly) Joke Beach there’s the Bowgie Inn and C-Bay Café/Bar/Bistro, both with amazing views of Crantock beach. 

 

The sandy beach is stunning, surrounded by large sand dunes and is dog friendly all year round.

 Surfing, bodyboarding, paddleboarding and kayaking are available on the beach.
